Between the 15th and the 17th of May, the entrepreneurial community of Havana had as its meeting point the 7th Anniversary Expo-Entreprenourship, an event that every year carries out the CubaEmprende Project with the objective of publicizing the good work of some of the businesses in the city.
Visitors who attended the Expo had the opportunity to approach the protagonists of 73 companies or projects that, from the timely management of their estanes or through product launches in a conference room, showed the audience how much can be done and offered from the private initiative . Among the most representative sectors were those of craft production, communication and advertising and computer and digital services .
The event, a tribute to the city that welcomes us all in its 500th anniversary, was sponsored by 38 sponsoring companies, who gave a significant boost to their organization .
The usual CubaEmprende Awards were given, as well as Best Stand Design and Greater Popularity, to which this year was added the Best Product Design. Fr. Yosvany Carvajal was awarded the CubaEmprende Prize, which is granted to a person or institution whose work has been significant for the development of the Project; Yusef García de Muebles Atlantis won the Highest Entrepreneurial Spirit, while the company Facilitodeserved the Best Business Project. Also, the company Furniture Atlantis received the Best Stand Design and Popularity, while ATIVA won the Best Product Design.
