With a “Sacred-musical message of past and contemporary times”, the Sacred Music Week 2019 was held in several locations of the Church in Havana, with the participation of more than 400 artists from the city and several parts of Cuba: concerts, workshops, master lectures, and a festival of parish choirs, were the ingredients of an event that has been growing in participants, audiences, and artistic level, since its inception in 2013.
This festival is organized by the Chair of Sacred Music, attached to the Father Felix Varela Institute of Ecclesiastical Studies, in collaboration with several artistic institutions in the city.
